Nu wordt het wijd aanvaard en gebruikt in de optische vezelindustrie. De EIA\/TIA-norm bepaalt dat de maximale verzwakking een van de belangrijkste parameters is bij de meting van het verlies van optische vezels. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"ne-p\"><span class=\"ne-text\">In feite is de maximale verzwakking de verzwakkingsco\u00ebffici\u00ebnt van de optische kabel, in dB \/ km. Stel dat er een<\/span>Tussen twee gebouwen wordt een single mode glasvezelkabel ge\u00efnstalleerd, met een transmissieafstand van 10 km en een golflengte van 1310 nm. Tegelijkertijd heeft de optische vezel 2 ST-connectoren en 1 fusieverbinding.<\/div>\n<div class=\"lake-content\">\n<p id=\"u31216541\" class=\"ne-p\"><span class=\"ne-text\"><em>Verzwakking van optische kabel<\/em> &#8211; volgens de bovenstaande normtabel is de maximale verzwakkingswaarde van optische kabel voor buitengebruik met een golflengte van 1310nm 0,5dB\/km, dus de verzwakkingswaarde van optische kabel is 0,5dB\/km \u00d7 10km=5dB.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"ne-p\"><span class=\"ne-text\"><em>Stekkerdemping<\/em> &#8211; omdat er 2 ST-connectoren worden gebruikt en het maximale verlies van elke ST-connector 0,75dB is, is de stekkerdemping 0,75dB \u00d7 2=1,5dB.
