Hij brengt elektriciteit of informatie van de ene plaats naar de andere over.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"u581ba502\" class=\"ne-p\"><span class=\"ne-text\">Op basis van de toepassingsomgeving kan elektrische kabel worden onderverdeeld in stroomkabels, bedieningskabels, compensatiekabels, afgeschermde kabels, kabels voor hoge temperaturen, computerkabels, signaalkabels, coaxkabels, vuurvaste kabels, mariene kabels, mijnbouwkabels, aluminiumlegeringkabels, enzovoort. En deze lengte kan zich ook uitbreiden volgens de veldtoepassingen, zoals 4km, 6km en 8km.
